Group Legal Leader ARAG® Is Honored for Outstanding Training Programs to Support Business Initiatives, Strategic Planning Goals

DES MOINES, Iowa – Group legal insurance leader ARAG^® has been selected as a 2009 Workplace Learning and Performance Award winner in the “Training as a Business Strategy” category.

The award was presented by the Central Iowa Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development. Selection was based on effective use of training as an organizational strategy to directly support business initiatives and strategic planning goals.

“Aligning ARAG training programs with key business strategies helps our employees to better understand their roles within the organization and how they can contribute to its continued success. The ASTD award is one of several honors that ARAG has received in recent months. ARAG was a Stevie Award recipient as Customer Service Team of the Year in insurance, banking and financial services from The American Business Awards.
