Legal Insurer ARAG® Appoints Jerry Turjanica as Managing Director, Midwest

DES MOINES, Iowa – May 17, 2010 – Legal insurer ARAG^® has appointed Jerry Turjanica as Managing Director for the Midwest. Jim Barone, Chief Sales Officer at ARAG, says, "Jerry Turjanica is a veteran sales professional who has strong experience in the employee benefits industry and expertise in serving customer needs."

Turjanica previously worked in business development at ARAG. Prior to joining the company in 2009, Turjanica consulted with insurers setting up private label vision plans at some of the nation’s largest employers. He was director of national sales for one of the nation’s largest vision companies. He has also worked with industry leaders in the healthcare industry.

Turjanica is a graduate of Youngstown State University in Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance. Based in Cincinnati, Turjanica is active in the community as a coach for youth athletics.
