Jim Barone Appointed As New Chief Sales Officer at ARAG®

DES MOINES, Iowa – ARAG^®, a global leader of legal insurance, has announced the appointment of insurance industry veteran Jim Barone as the company’s new Chief Sales Officer. Barone will lead an experienced ARAG sales team in working with businesses, brokers and benefits professionals to provide legal plans that help people address personal legal needs.

Jim has exceptional experience, having been a successful insurance sales executive in the employer sponsored and voluntary market for the past 15 years.”

Most recently, Barone was Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for managed vision products provider Luxottica Retail. He was previously a sales and marketing executive for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where he managed sales and distribution programs in the individual, group and national healthcare market.

Barone earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati. He received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law and is a member of the Ohio State Bar.
