ARAG Expands Free Legal & Financial Resources Program To Include More People Served by Children & Families of Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa – ARAG®, a global leader of legal insurance, is expanding its partnership with Children & Families of Iowa to offer free legal and financial services to an additional 1,100 people in CFI’s outreach programs.

ARAG Cares provides access to an ARAG Network Attorney and a Certified Financial Planner for legal and financial services, and makes counseling available on a variety of personal legal and financial matters. The services are free to the CFI outreach clients. President and Chief Executive Officer Cameron Sutton said, “The purpose of ARAG Cares is to give back to the community by providing professional expertise, resources and employee volunteers to support CFI’s important mission.” The program was introduced in early 2008 for residents of the CFI’s domestic violence shelter, which offers safe shelter, advocacy and outreach for over 7,000 victims each year.
